  • Freediving classes, initiation for newcomers, training and reef exploration at sea (4 launches)
  • Pranayama, Yoga Yin, Yoga ashtanga, yoga vocal, Medicine Song journey

Join us on a once in a lifetime trip, for encountering Indo-Pacific tursiop dolphins in the southern hemisphere, the Mozambican cousins of Flipper the dolphin. They are covered to the belly with their typical freckles and exceptionally social with multiple species, including humans which they come in close proximity spontaneously. A luxury villa with private access to the beach (see photos below) will be our base for 7 nights, where our team of cooks will be serving two-course brunches and three-course dinners. From there, we will ray along the coast of pristine Ponta Malongane to meet her resident pod of tursiop dolphins on ethical terms. We will explore the coral reef, watch her turles and all other marine life as well as practice freediving on a line. Our local expert and adventure partner will accompany us during each activity.

Each day will start with yoga and dry freediving breathing exercices at the villa. A first dolphin launch will then ensue, followed by another early in the afternoon. We then return to the villa and unwind with another session of yoga and a short ocean talk, addressing topics ranging from dolphin behaviour and bioacoutsics to local fauna biology and freediving. Down time and delicious meals will be offered in between activities, as will the opportunity to take a trip on foot to the little local market place of Ponta Malongane and to the next village, Ponta do Ouro, for an optional surf session and a different kind of good dinner outside, with Gaïane’s good recommendations, as a way of getting to know the local culture and place in person.

All activities offered are at will and optional – this sojourn is designed to offer a restorative and sensory experiences in the wonderful nature that will have the privilege to enjoy.
